might be worth a PM to one of the resident spanner monkeys to give your callipers an overhaul while you are away.
or since you are half way there 'popped piston' give them a service yourself. |

Time depends in the current state of said calipers, experience, tools for the job. If you are doing the seals you may as well clean and grease the important bits while you are there. Not including the time it took me to split the calipers and manually clean them, took me a few hours to remove, strip, grease, reassemble and bleed the brakes. Of course if you have problems getting pistons out and splitting the calipers this time can grow a lot, mostly dependant on what tools you have available (I had no breaker bar etc) |

Strip the calipers and clean all the parts in new brake fluid. Have you got the service manual? The section for brakes is covered in the chassis section and will help greatly. If not PM me and i'll see if I can email a copy. Although its 11Mb and may not work.

No don't do that.
a) it's horrible sh*t and you'll end up wearing it b) it crystallises if left behind the seals and actually CAUSES them to seize c) brake cleaner works better to clean them

So Suzuki and Haynes are wrong!! Just don't leave any behind the seals and it saves buying cleaner as well.
