Doesn't necessarily help. We had an original Mercedes M Class. Designed by Germans, built by Alabamans. Although, granted, the other way round would probably have been just as bad.

Well I'm willing to put up with it on a long term test ,Just so you guys can get an impression of how it copes in the uk .

It wouldn't be that hard to get one SVA'd if you imported it. Only downside its the Hyosung lump
