With the same rider? or are the riders of the Minitwins as supertrick as the bikes they are racing against? )

having seen a Manx Supertwin in action there's absolutely no way a Minitwin could even remotely keep up in the IOM. They are running 40+ horsepower more!

I can see the point if the majority of riders that will be competing are already running Supertwins from the Irish classes. Maybe we can run as the Supertwin EVO series?

Maybe a "minitwin" sub section would be a good idea, put it forward to the powers that be. If you dont ask you dont get!!

I've had a quick look on Ebay and they don't have any Extra large Cahunas that would allow me to race on the IOM! ))

If that's what you call alive and well you must be Irish!!

Why couldn't we have a class at the TT that had a level playing field, and guess what-the best rider would win!! Surely that would be a great advertisement for such a prestigious meeting!!
I don't think there is any need for personal, racist comment.
Everyone has the opportunity to comment on the regulations & make suggestions, contact details are at the bottom of the post.
Trying to put genie's back in bottles doesn't work, Supertwins are here to stay.

Just to comment on good riders on slow bikes, the guy who was 2nd in our National Supertwin championship, Andrew Irwin, was on a bike making 76 bhp & he missed 2 rounds, so a slow bike with a quick rider can run at the front.

Well it took me about £200 to get 76bhp out of an SV but there are some ER6's out there developing monster power, well for a 650 twin anyhow.

Got a mate building an ER6 for the Manx and Irish roads at the moment that reckons Cams, system, remap and an airfiler will get high 80's bhp out of it.

Your mate will need to do a fair bit more to get to mid 80's, he won't be anywhere near without some work to the head.

They certainly are and some are putting out 90+ bhp.

Still sticking to my standard twin - for now lol
