had a lovely but cold day out with some ecossers and a geordy down D&G and done this:

Nowhere, I still have 15 stitches in one finger.
However I will be riding next weekend despite the forecast for cold weather to arrive. I plan to cut the offending finger out of an old pair of gloves. May look funny with my pinky sticking out but I'll be all proper if I stop for tea!

No towrope needed, kept up easily even with the lead group, read fast group, and I managed to get out of 3rd gear, unlike when I follow a certain person on a 675
