Well I thought I'd update again:

Had a ride out on Sunday with my neighbour and a bunch of others he knew. Did near 250miles riding in some gorgeous weather, down to Clacton and Finchingfield etc. Great day riding, got more of a feel for riding, and picked up some tips n stuff from the others.

Also learned that having someone crashing right in front of me, into a ditch/hedge/trees/bush, is a scary damn experience. Thankfully he was ok, but his bike was trashed.

Glad you're having some good experiences on the bike.

Sorry to hear about one of the guys on the ride out crashing. If you think that is scary you should try crashing yourself (don't, it hurts!)

Anyway, keep on riding and stay safe, you'll get "that feeling" you're looking for then
