It`ll be alright YC , you only need to provide enough Sugar for the Yeast to munch on , you could always add a half a Carton of Apple juice and sugar warmed up in a pan , allow it to cool and pour it in slowly into your existing mixture without shocking the Active Yeast and it will munch on it quite happily whilst it`s active . You just run the risk of getting a Gremlin in there and farking the whole mixture if things don`t go to plan .

Yeah I'd rather have a slightly weaker brew than 8 pints of vinegar!

Hmmm well that didn't work too well.

Think maybe letting the primary ferment go on too long affected this (it was very clear in the demijohn before bottling), but there is very little fizz and I don't think it's vinegared more that it's so dry it's nearly undrinkable.

I did try half a litre or so when desperately sober with ice to try and battle through it, but I was still sober at the end and still ended up with a hangover. Hmmm.

Sounds like something you could sell to alcoholics to get them to quit...

Don't think I've seen diy cider here in Norway, only beer and wine.
