I usually turn up on the bus. No chance of a parking ticket that way. Though I did manage to get a private parking ticket in Leicester on Friday night last winter while I was in Soho and the bike was safely tucked up in the garage. I pointed out to the company who issued it that unless my bike had started taking itself for rides while I was in a plaster cast then I wasn't paying.
