these have been on for a few years now without any issue, even had a compliment from a traffic copper down Boxhill at one point.

Cheers Mark.

but are they tinted at all or just clear?

(serious question, I cant see if they've got a smoked tint)

(Also, now I see what you mean when you asked me "where's the rest of it", compared to all that stuff I've only got half a bike)

no those aren't smoked, but they are engraved with inch high letters "triumph".

and yeah, the basic bike is good, but all day on clipons isn't viable, high speed runs over hundreds of miles are easy with the screen, wind deflectors (or the bar muffs in winter) make the bike more usable for more of the year (well all of it actually), as well as the heated grips, the satnav mount and 12v socket get well used to, then full luggage (triumph body protection kit, panniers and tankbag) the rack normally has a topbox on it to.

the additions just turn a good bike into a do pretty much anything one.

Cheers Mark.

I'm sure I'll be adding those bits back on within the next ten years if I keep it, right now I can survive without for any amount of mileage with clip on but it doesnt get any easier as the years go by.

this is where we differ greatly, I don't "survive" my bikes, I enjoy them, and the more I can do the better it is.

Cheers Mark.

By survive I meant I don't currently experience any pain from the clip ons.

Apart from a little lower back ache but I got that with high bars too (although perhaps to a slightly lesser extent) and I'm willing to trade it for the feel the higher bars gave me of being pulled forward in my seat.
