Looks clean, sounds smooth and rides well. Body in very good condition for its age with only minor rust on some bolts but no marks on the frame or bodywork. Plus I'm picking it up tomorrow for £500.

Only downside I could see is it needs a new front tyre as current one is on the limit.

I'm looking at some front tyres for the CB500. The CBs tyre size for the front is apparently 110/80 17". A new Michelin Pilot Sporty has been fitted to the rear so I thought I'd match with a Pilot Sporty on the front.

What do you guys think to that price and has anyone used a Pilot Sporty before?

I've used the RS50/YBR125 variant, they were good tryes. Really grippy

So for £52 it's a good tyre, plus it matches the rear.

After having another look over the bike the only things I can see that need doing are...

New Front Tyre
Strip and clean the front brake as it's binding and the fluid is almost black.
Oil and Filter
Coolant
Give the chain a good clean for when I fit my other Tutoro Oiler.

Apart from that it runs good from what I can tell.
