I ran a 2005 1.8 90bhp tdci connect from 50,000 to 110,000 miles, in that time it suffered a starter, two drive shafts and a clutch.

Engine let go at the end though, which may of been down to running a 75 shot of nitrous on top of a boost controller and a remap.

Drove very well but wasnt great on fuel.

Now running its bigger brother

right sort of understood that,
so what model should i look for?

anymore info on suzuki carry ?
i dont like them that much and would look a knob driving to college in one tbh

I had a hijet, similar sort of van, 900cc 3 cylinder **** hot van. Managed to get the sv in the back with the mirrors off and still got it off the clock on the motorway.

You might look like a nob but they are a serious laugh to drive, you can get them on two wheels and push the back out if your ballsy enough. Play on the ****ness and put flames, spoiler and naff alloys on it... never got round to doing that

i wouldnt buy a ford connect petrol (duratec he)built before 2004,or a diesel connect with high milage,as to the suzuki,i believe they are good motors if looked after, but you are unlikely to get done for speeding in one,as they are well under powered

God knows, don't know what van to get :/
With a budget of most £1500 needs to be low insurance group, cheap to tax ect ...

I had a bedford rascal / suzuki whatever clone. Oodles of fun, and certainly cheap in every aspect. Slidey side doors, flat front. Parks easy. Probably work well for gardening type work so long as you dont have many wheelbarrows

This.
I fear insurance will be your biggest problem.Possibly big enough to scupper the whole business plan, whatever van you try.
