Getting random texts from Quiff - they don't happen often, enough, they are usually abusive, and he never ever actually phones me.

But always brings a big smile to my ugly mug.

1. Seeing the youngest in the morning, ever since she was a baby, she's always been a happy ray of sunshine
2. Taking her to school and seeing her always happy to go
3. Being on the beach on a cloudless blue sky day in the summer, when she's enjoying playing in the sea with her friends.

Just thought of another one:-

No longer having any of the (step)kids at home so we can do what we want, when we want without having to answer to anyone else

What dogs do you have?

For me right now my favourite thing is getting a "squeeze" hug from my little girl (Jenny 2yrs) when I get back from work.

Kids are a complete pain sometimes but they are the most rewards, much like those dogs of yours too I guess Charlie...I had whippets in my youth but I can't justify a dog anymore, as we go abroad for long periods it wouldn't be right. No family close enough or that would be willing to look after any dog whilst we are away And kennels are a little too much like jail!

Working a long hard cold night shift... And getting home to find my pjs on the heater. Slipping into them all warm and cosy then heading to bed whilst the rest of the world gets up to start its day.
Or on the reverse...
Getting up for an early shift and cycling to work whilst everyone else is still tucked up sleeping in their beds! The roads are quiet and the world is peaceful. (Means I can sing away whilst cycling and not get strange looks from people)!
