Will find out later this year when I wear these out. Will be good to see your progress on them and how they wear

Thanks to your post I've just ordered a pair of Michelin PP3s for £186 including shipping. I've been idly trawling the web for a while seeking decent prices, this has to be one of the best deals out there. Saved a solid 10% compared to other 'great deals' I've seen elsewhere.

Default Tyreleader - Anyone used them?

Wife just rang me at work to say that the tyres have arrived. Ordered Saturday morning so good turnaround time from Germany if you don't include Sunday.
I'll get a look at them and post up more info later, just wanted to reassure anyone thinking of using this company that it would appear it's not a scam

What's the manufacturing date on the tyres?

Looks like more tread on the rear tyre than the 2CT?
I do like the look of new tyres, fresh rubber waiting to be scrubbed in. Best way to spend a summers day!

Good question given the price compared to other suppliers. The PP3 is a fairly new tyre so they shouldn't be aged but I'd too am interested in the date.

5213, so last week of 2013. Less than two months old.

Yeah does look like there's more tread grooves compared to the 2's. Guessing that's how they improved the wet capabilities. Figure that the 2CT+ technology allows for more cuts in the surface whilst maintaining stability (a lack of which the pilot road 3's have been accused of suffering from).

I live new rubber too
