That's ridiculous. Could understand if it had been a proper write off but most cat c's are cosmetic.

Bit of a result today, the guy called me to say he had found the disc but was gonna claim back the 6 months left which I don;t mind I'd have done the same so I went up the Post Office and they let me tax it with the V5C/2 so at least I now have a tax disc.
But it does show that the VIC scheme is flawed because technically I should not be able to tax it while the VIC marker is on the record, but you can at a post office. |
