If by new you mean a K3 and K4 I think the situation re. suspension and tyres may be different, unsure but dont think the front fork situation etc is quite such a problem....but as I say unsure. Also I think the concensus last time this was raised was that the new stock tyres are ok...not brill but certainly ok, i.e. wear them out before changing them.
Ive dropped my bike once and nearly dropped it more than once. I wouldnt take a bike off a forecourt without bungs in future.

So discounting bungs it has to be can for added smile factor, I would say.

Road sense is what I would add 1st up...then lots of experience ( usually obtained free)... then I would put on a rorty can.

nope, think its a small US outfit. They're happy to post though, i believe - but you might get nobbled for import duty. Talk to Cloggsy he seems quite happy with his.

I'm the one vote for the fender extender, after my last SV had one fitted didnt bother to fit one to my replacement, come the wet weather the front Cylnder stopped firing, quite scary if your cranked over at the time. The fender extender is a must on the SV and why it isnt fitted as standard is beyond me, Its OK for you summer only riders but as I use mine all year the exetender now become a good purchase.

Default This is turning out real informative

This is turning out real informative . . . . . .

I take delivery tommorrow at 9 am of a brand new Blue 650s in candy blue(because it is fastest) . . .I have already had the bungs and oiler fitted and am watching your comments for what else to get . . So far, definitely adding a fender extender and will consider all the extras

Please keep posting . . . .this is real useful for me and will probably help other people that are buying SVs . . .

Thanks :P

Given your recent SV Ecosse record, perhaps stabilisers would be a better idea?
