Boo, no! The term had been around for ages before the mag launched... My cousin Mike's Gixxer was in a big spread in some bike mag or another when I was still on a BMX, in an article called Streetfighting Men, basically "What is a streetfighter". Apparently the first time the term was used in the proper press. Still a stinker of a bike though, he crashed that thing more often than Bigape, Wigan and me combined
