If it's a quality aftermarket shock, you should be able to find a spring with the correct spring rate, like Scoobs says, pretty easily. Or if you get the dimensions chances are another manufacturers will fit if you look around. It'd be a shame to go back to standard...

i'm just gonna get a std one cheap off ebay to get it sorted short term... i'll sort out what to do with the aftermarket one after, just need to get it rideable as i use it every day for work.
The one on there is a TechnoFlex which i know nothing about the settings.

Is it really soft or could you just wind on a bit of preload. A little tweak on the compression damping would slow it down a bit as well. May save you a bit a cash and then you can get it properly sprung at a later date.

Pers'nally I'd email them and ask them what the stock settings are... Good manufacturer anyhow.
