We nearly agree :P

I would have bought a new MkII Fazer (the one with the fairing like the 1000) but didn't because:

1. They weren't availabe brand new by the time that I bought my bike
2. They dissolved into a pile of rust at the first sign of rain/salt.

The new Fazer is a pile of poo compared to the old one.

Thats it, the only thing to do is to go onto the Hornets Nest and start

Nah, i was just curious, i've only had the SV just over a month! I like the look of the hornet, especially the 2005 one but its another 2 groups higher up in the insurance. Having 0 years bike no claims and parking it on a street in clapham means that stings a bit! Er, no pun intended

Not by me

It's a good, healthy debate and I know that I'll get stick from time to time just for being here

Nah - they're more interested in Foccer-baiting and, like me, know that the SV is a good bike. Not the best, mind........ :P

And they'll only remind you about things like build-quality and front cylinders mis-firing in the wet

Bottom line is that there's very little to choose between any of the 600/650 budget bikes (with the exception of the Bandit) and which is actually the best will vary with the person offering their opinion.
