Hey,

Oh... I was about to post and then I remebered people talking about the sprocket... I was gonna ask if the belt would slip. But it has teeth/grooves that fit into the sprocket I imagine...?

Belt drives are more efficient as they have less moving parts than a chain and hence less friction. They require no maintainance also, and from what I know you never have to change the pulleys.

Having said that, they are less durable, probably last around the same/ a little less/ quite a bit less than a chain and sprockets depending on how you look after it (assuming your belt doesnt fly off and do its best impression of a dead black snake in your mirrors as your bike free-revs into the limiter and beyond.........).

They also look bloody ugly.

I wouldnt have one on my bike, as in a perverse kind of way think that a nice gold tsubaki/DID chain and some yummy renthal sprockets look very nice indeed-but then I am a strange chap lol.

Hopefully informative

Dan

Got a e-mail back and recived this info:

The Price for the Kit is 799,- € without Tax.
The shipping is 25,- € if you pay before the money to our Bank.
Best regards

Not sure how much a replacement belt is but the price above is just for the kit. But its 560 quid.

The seller would also have to charge VAT at the German rate (16%?). Unless you're VAT registered.
