Whether this is just because JHS sell them. I nearly bought a slip-on M4 from JHS because I was assured I would be amazed at the sound, but I was very unamazed compred with say Monkey's Scorpion.
Like I said, it's not the loudest but the sound is very distinctive.

2 summers ago when Topcat had one on his SV, we would all regularly meet at Stockley Park for a Sunday morning blast. We could tell it was him 30 seconds before he got to us because of the sound, which in my opinion, was fantastic. Similar to the Akropovic system I had, but with a deeper note, which made it sound better.

Do they sell Hindle exhausts over there? They are made here and sound amazing.

Indeed Steve. Its a different sound alltogether, possibly more street friendly as its not too loud. Some are daftly loud. My Blueflame seems a litle loud, possibly after riding other things I suppose.

I searched and searched for cans and didnt come across a Hindle.

So Mitch... with that high level... how's anyone going to see your indicators? They've actually had to remove the right hand one for the photograph

A tail tidy will make it worse!

I would venture to guess flush mounts beside the tail lights. We can get away with that sort of thing here. They don't really enforce stuff like that.

I was thinking more along the lines of your own personal safety... you indicate right, and turn into some moron in an Eclipse or something, who was gonig too fast that he didn't see your lack of indicator bulb!

Several broken bones later, and an insurance inspection, and you're liable!

I personally always hand signal to compliment my tiny questionable indicators. For my use, it is not an issue. I live in the country and when I do commute to work, my hours have me going the oppposite way to everyone else. If I were a regular commuter, that set up would be suicidal!!

They've got a great rep for performance, or at least the full systems do. Personally I think the slip-ons look s***e, just very cheap looking, but that's just me Never heard the slip-on, so can't comment there.

Hey,

Well the M4 sounds like the can for me. I was worried it'd get hassled from the cops with a Hindle.

I have aftermarket signal lights that I think will be out of the way of the exhaust. If not, I have a few options.

Mitch
