Mine has done 23k in 14 months from new. All original except tyres of course. New front springs and rear shock are next on my shopping list

YEah, but they are american miles, aren't they different to UK miles? Something like 3 mile to every 1 uk mile or something

Your bike must bounce like a kangaroo with the original shock! Mine was gone at 28k! The difference was astounding when replaced.
no, the shock is still working ok, I would like a progressive spring in back, and maybe a little better compression damping, but overall, I like the suspension as is

Hey,

Keep in mind. In 2003, I only rode 3 months. And not alot as I was new to biking and slightly intimidated. Last year, 2004, I didn't start riding until July because I was recovering from my reconstructive knee surgery. So that is only 4 months. 2004 was nice because I could have been riding in March!! That is rare in Canada!

So only been able to ride 7 months and I have no where to ride to and no one to ride with, so trips are hard. I use it alot for commuiting to school and back.

You don't need a destination to go for a ride do you? I gues living in the Praries there aint too many twisties. (For you guys in th UK, where Mitch lives is flat. I mean really really flat) :P Riding in March may be rare in your end of the country, but it is not that uncommon here. Mind you, most roads haven't been swept yet so there is alot of sand and crud on em. Best time of year to avoid bug splatter though. For God's sake man, put some mileage on your bike. I have put more mileage on in one day!!!
