But, that will require speed cameras to be removed as they wouldn't know about your license. Unless of course all citizens get RFID chips implanted and the cameras linked to a national database so they know who to flash-catch.

When's the next boat leaving? . No, changed my mind..

Not so much pileups, but I for one caused a road to be shut for 4 hours and I was the only one injured.

As much as we are road aware, it doesn't count for one second when you are faced with a driver making a sudden decision to turn in front of you with out indicating, suddenly slam on etc etc..

Same as above

So do most drivers, but as a biker you are more likely to be involved in a serious or fatal accident. So, should car drivers be allowed to have a faster limit because they go faster most of the time, and are less likely to be involved in a prang?

We have fought for years to have similar rights to car drivers (level of noise from an exhaust, helmets/seatbelts etc etc), this will cause more harm than good

Not only that, car drivers will get the mentality of "if they can go faster, why cant I?", and then go faster

Exactly. Cameras linked to a national database would mean that legally approved faster drivers would simply be ignored.

Perhaps a different coloured number plate (removable) would allow instant visual identification for traffic officers.

Sorry Jonboy, are you saying you want to be implanted? Obviously if the chip was in the car it would just make that eligible not the driver. I doubt i people would want chips on the driving license for instance (which could be a solution) considering all the upset that was caused when they tried to bring in ID card - mostly by those wishing to remain annoymous for dubious reasons. I don't want to be chipped - it's all too X-Files!
