Yes but it doesnt stop your insurers wanting to see the approved paperwork or the police in the event of an accident.

Afterall a dyno sheet is no proof at all. Anyone can rig a dyno sheet up.

Official is in the same capacity that you need to show a driving licence to prove you have passed your test. Look at this restriction cert as the same thing.

Whether its ludicrous or not its a requirement at this present time.

Yes FI internation charge a hell of alot for the kit, thats why we try and use the suzuki ones. FI are capitalising on this legislation..same as Coke and mcDonalds capitalise on kids... If people think us dealers make tons of pound notes out of these kits...they are very mistaken.

now wheres the keys to my merc!!!!

Well, this is what gets me,
i cant see any where that says you should have to have the paper work,
other than the police & insurance want proof, thats not legaslative, thats a want!

My main underlying point, is that so much hoo harr has been drummed up over this, no one really knows whats in the law and not.

In the same respect, if i can rig a dyno, surley u can rig a certificate, i know damed well i could!

454697819 stop talking out of your posterior. OK!?

Remember this is a happy fun place, and there's no need to be getting shirty with people who may just know a little more than you.

Don't go thinking i'm trying to portray you as an idiot. I'm just saying there are people on this forum who know huge amounts, and it pays to listen to them sometimes.

Also I find that swearing shouldn't be over-used. It should be saved for special ocassions

Lyk wen ppl Fckin shrtn fkn evrytin and rite lyk dey carnt spel at all.

Rant over, it can just be a little irritating to try to make out what someone means in some of the more poorly put together posts.

Ryt im off to fil my byk up wit petral, den i mite go 4 a ryd.

Dan.
