I went to the essex meet, on the way back i got a puncture on the front tyre. I noticed it when i went arround a rabout. Thing felt like a truck, it would not turn in. I filled it with air thinking it was because of the new air valves i have. Went five miles again it was flat. I got though the blackwall tunnel and it was so flat i decided to stop before i could find another garage. Called the RAC, 1h later the guy fixed the puncture with one of thoes elastic thingies. Then went home.

Nice end for the day.

Always carry a puncture repair kit.

Another thing to take with me now, but you also need one of thoes cans of air.

Are thoes repair kits the same as the RAC ones, you find the puncture and make the hole bigger and then put a elastic thing in it with a special tool and glue?

Yes they're basically the same. And if you haven't got any small air canisters then providing you can make it to a garage you can then do the repair and then use their air.

Do note that it's only a temporary repair and that you ought to take it in to your local bike tyre place and get them to make a permanent repair.

Default What cold ?

I had nice easy ride out to the Ace on Sunday, saw loads of funny three wheelers, including a boat !!. Yup, road legal to.
Cold must have taken day off elsewhere, it was loverly, especially when I toasted digits on hot grips. No problem there with cold fingers and zippers at the loo.
