Yeah I vote you to organise it. There could be some problems as we need fairings for different years and different colours. Plus how will everyone receive it, will they have to pick it up?

I'll speak with my local dealer ASAP.

I'd just like to show everyone:

people who use ebay are idiots, check out the bid history.

I got a set off eBay but they are blue (my bike is silver) and they have some damage.

Does anyone know where is a good place to get resprays/repairs?

I'd be interested in the bulk buy as well.

Do you think the dealer would let us pay by credit/debit card over the phone for all of our own lowers or would he want just one payment. Be much safer for whoever organises it as the last thing he wants to do is order them all and then for someone to pull out. Be unfair for them to help us all out and then be out of pocket.

Just a thought......

It might make more sense to go to an online seller of lowers and ask them to match £235 WITH shipping and give us a reference to quote on the phone. I've emailed banditmania, does anyone else know of any other online merchants (or garages that deliver) that we could try?

Would certianly save us a big headache shipping

Ok, banditmania will do £250 + £7.50 delivery if there's 5 of us. This will save us a lot of hassle and gets us a new set for what they're going on ebay. Any takers for this offer?

They seem to retail £275 and it's only £15 more than our best dealer quote (which was £235 no delivery). Steep, yes, not as steep as the idiots buying them off ebay at the moment.

Very true ... I missed out on buying some nice ones on ebay from the USA ... . I have however just spoken to the chaps at skidmarx who have some very reasonably priced lowers. The only problem is that the lowers only come with a base coat which is why the price is soo good, but hey at least you can spray the colour you want then.

I didn't ask about a bulk discount cos I wasn't sure if anyone was very interested in the skidmarx lowers.

Also there arn't any pictures available which someone mentioned before, however I was told by the chap at skidmarx they they are very similar to the TL1000s lowers if this helps.
