Sorry to hear of this, shutdown! Especially annoying that it
happened after you successfully completed the annual rideout.

Such things happen to all of us. Two years ago I scratched the lens
on one of my headlights against a steel barrier while parking at
work. Didn't affect the way the headlight functioned but was still
upsetting. In the end decided to bite the bullet and replaced the
headlight unit. Unfortunately, it was quite expensive (headlight
unit costs around £200 as far as I recall).

One thing I learned is that low speed manoeuvres are the most
dangerous parts of any ride.

i was concerned turning on the grass at the camp..as it was dewy-

so as we all did I think- took it nice n wide n slow.!

wot a shame matey-0 espesh after u nearly dropped it at the petrol sation on the tesco stop too..

headlight- I had a scratch prof (still have) on mine when i had an off...!
so I got some blue covers- the ones that velcro on- looks good- have to take em off at night of course but a cheaper alternative at £18 squid off e bay

Shutdown PM me if u all goin Matlock way or a rideout - no one plays with me around here !!!

I considered this option but in the end decided to go for a proper fix.
