Thanks peeps for all your feed back, I'll try 8 to 10 mm to start with.

Carsick, thanks for the offer, might take you up on it if I go to the next stage and fit bones.

I've heard that after 15mm you run the risk of driving the lowers into the bottom yokes before the forks bottom out... Wouldn't be much fun. I cabletied mine with the 12mm drop and found I only had a few mm clearance even without doing any really drastic braking etc.

Possibly so with the curvy SV's. Haven't noticed a problem with the K3.

I told you the new shapes are better

A very good point. I've still got the cable tie on the forks from when I was setting up the static sag after changing the springs. Will have a look and see how much clearance I have before moving the forks.

ive lowerd the front 11mm but im considering raising it a bit to 8

it dose change directions super fast but no good in corners it will just keep going... no good for knee down as id prob turn into the corner to sharp or something!
