Why the crash bungs?

Or are you so he is going to drop it so best make ready?

Personally I think the first thing to do with an SV is to get decent tyres fitted and a proper set of springs installed. I cannot understand why Suzuki compomise with the cheap trash when it would not have cost them much more to fit the good stuff in the first place.

Yes but that can be expensive and not everybody can afford to do that after shelling out for a new bike.

I think its better to protect your investment with some bungs.

It's not about performance, it's about not sounding like a sewing machine.
I'm with e.d. on this one mate.

With a new can at least the other traffic has a hope in hell of hearing you coming.

I thought there would be a performance issue to before i got my can. No power difrence that i can notice at all, but i do see cars lookin in their mirrors when i'm trying to filter.
The one's not on thier phones that is

My can is also a GForce road legal and fully stamped up.

Either way, Hi and welcome. Cant believe you waited 2 yrs between DAS and getting a bike. Might be worth signing up for a few refresher lessons or sumtin if you aint been onn a bike in that time too.
Stay safe and enjoy the bike

It's a little disconcerting that everyone thinks my bike will end up on its side although you're probably right

I'd have bought bungs already but I'd spent all the cash on security to stop the scummers nicking my shiny new toy!
