Mogs, if your going from caerphilly over, is it possible for me to meet you there somewhere ??
I dont know the way to newport that way.. so I'll end up going down the A470 to the M4 otherwise! lol

p.s. I cant be bothered to clean the bike!! welll.. its covered in ACF-50 now.. and is making a nice burning smell!

As I understand it, Mogs will be travelling Caerphilly to Bassaleg via Machen. Nice road anyway, rideout or no rideout.

We are leaving Bassaleg HS, Newport at 6:30pm. The location is shown in Mogs' map/directions on the first page of this thread.

Basically, at J28 of the M4 (Tredegar Park), turn right towards Risca on the dual carriageway. At the roundabout, take 2nd left and follow the signs to Caerphilly. The layby in front of the school is about 50yds before the Tredegar Arms, on the left-hand side.

Does this mean that you will be there?

From Aberdare come through Nelson (A472) to Ystrad then A469 to 'Philly follow signs for Newport.

I'll meet you on (Bedwas Bridge Roundabout) to depart at 6.15pm

If I miss you keep heading for Newport through Bedwas, Trethomas (Gatso - 30mph), Machen, Rhiwderrin, Bassaleg.
