I am SOOOO gutted!!!!!!

We (my brother & I) set off for Hamilton (Glasgow) at 08.30 this morning to go and see the SV pictured previously. We arrived at 12.00 to view the bike but was very disappointed to find that it was not in the 'very good'condition' as described in the for sale post.

Basically the bike had previously been sent down the road, and showed it

We did a 330 mile round trip to see this bike. I did ask the vendor on the telephone prior to seeing the bike, if there was any info I should know as I was travelling a long way to see it but he failed to reveal the extent of the damage.

Oh and BTW my brothers car died as we got back to Aberdeen (blown head gasket)

Liam, I hope someone buys your bike mate but it would have saved me alot of time and money if you had just come clean sooner rather than later.

If you find another one down this way drop me a PM and I'll go and take a look if you like... Save you a long trip.

That's a bummer... have only bought privately twice and both times turned out well, nothing nasty... even worse when you travelled so far to see it I'd have been very upset. Keep an eye out, maybe next time ask if they can deliver to you, that way you don't have to make all the effort and anyone with anything dodgy will pull out or let you know rather than go all that way and lose the sale. When it's your time they're not so worried.

You'll find another.

(Stu if you're reading this I only wanted you to deliver it cos it was so far, not the other reasons!)

its just a feeling i had, little things about the bike that had my somethings not right bell ringing. I sometime get it when i see other vechicles on the road & it makes me think before acting. like about 3 weeks ago when i was going to over take a ford metro & decide not to seconds later it suddenly swerved left then right, the driver was half asleep
