Sounds like it was just hard acceleration, you'll know when the front wheel comes off the ground trust me

Sounds good to me! My other half's got an R6 and I really struggle to keep up. I'm not saying you're slow of course but it would be good to ride with someone on the same bike so that I know I should be able to stand a chance!

Good on yer Cath - definitely sounds like a wheelie to me! . Did the same thing of the lights in Reading a couple of months ago. A most unstylish 1st gear job (legs wildly flailing, eyes like saucers etc), but was very pleased with myself, and told anyone that would listen...

Actually....I think I may have already told you this story a number of weekends ago, when I was chatting with you and Andy....

We must get that ride-out sorted!

I got a slight bar wobble the other day accelerating hard out of a corner. Is that just the front getting light or do you think I might have got it up a little?

Front getting light dude. Happens to me. Any slight movement on the bars produces a wobble. If it comes off the ground, you know about it.

Sounds cool to me

Would be good to have a local rideout, I know that there are a few now from around this area. Maybe I should look at setting something up. I think I'll put a thread in the rideouts and meetings forum and see what sort of interest it brings.

Going back to the subject of wheelies.......... I did the best 2nd gear wheelie today to date. Had to be at least a hundred foot right up there on the balance point. Only reason I let it back down again was because I ran out of road. I REALLY do need to find a private road so that I can practise without the fear of the law.
