As a matter of interest......if I was to fit the Scorpion can to the bike while it's still restricted will I get the same benefit as if it wasn't restricted?! Will it sound as good!?

ART - Cheap tat, are loud but don't really sound very good. "Din" is the one word I would describe the sound output.

Remus - Expensive but excellent build quality and sound fantastic

Renegade - May sound nice but needs constant repacking and for your money's worth, they are NOT worth it. When you get one, you'll ask yourself "Why the hell does this cost so much". Titanium finish is okay but innards are of poor quality.

Never tried Micron, CCC, G-Force but have heard they are quite good.

I'd always go with a remus. Especially on a remus.

Oh and whatever you do, don't buy a viper can!! That'll corrode quicker than the suzuki will.

i've had ss scorpion on a k1 and 2 remus exhausts now one on a cbr (carbon) and now a titanium on my k5 and got to say the remus is far better quality but that said the scorpion is not bad for the money either, as they say you pays yer money

The Rene twins and underseats are pretty expensive for what you get, but there's still not much to really compete, especially for the curvy models.

On the other hand, I've owned a CCC road legal slip-on, a japanese imported Kenz Sport twin 2-2 full system, and 2 WRP Lite all-titanium race systems (not just ti can, but ti headers too...), all for less than the RRP of a new Rene system. Ah, Ebay

FWIW, I had a road legal scorpion on my old restricted SV (R.I.P. ). It sounded absolutely wonderful..... until a Renault Clio crushed it to the thickness of a piece of cardboard

Am now on an unrestricted SV (took my test again, cos I'm a good girl) with a standard can, and I'm seriously considering getting another scorpion.......if only I had the money

I recently got the full M4 race system and am extremely pleased. Not too loud - but definitely sounds like a V-twin now - and the improvement in torque and throttle response is brilliant.

May sound nice but needs constant repacking - not quite true - mine didn't need repacking until 6000 miles (depends on your definition of 'contant' I suppose )

for your money's worth, they are NOT worth it - I thought it was worth it - even Mrs Matt thought they were worth it

When you get one, you'll ask yourself "Why the hell does this cost so much - I asked myself "Why the hell didn't I ditch the stock can earlier

If you have any concerns over quality, Jorge @ always used to offer a 'lifetime guarantee' on his cans - not sure if he still does.

I'm not having a 'pop' at Instigator and I am not denying they are bloody expensive, however if I had the money I would happily buy them again.

it will sound better than the stock can louder. it wont increase the hp by much slip on dont free up much power say about 1 bhp increase. what ever you dont be tempted to buy a micron full system as they do a very good job af restricting your bike. also as your bike is restricted your prob better to get a road legal can as you would be breaking your licence requirements buy adding more power to the bike. at least if you get stoped by the police with a legal can you can always say it road use and it was on the bike when i bought it.
