If it makes you boys feel any better...today here in Marbella it is hammering down with rain! Ah well got to keep the dust down I guess!

It was nice here after lunch. Didnt dry up much but nice. Well, I had work to do in the garden so no ride for me. I might go out tomorrow though if it brightens up. I'll decide in the morning.

I had a fantastic couple hours went down to Minehead, then down to Lynmouth all on the A39, not sure what happened after that I THINK I carried on the A39 then picked up the A399 and then ended up on the A361 which took me to jct 27 of the M5. I got off at jct 25 and went up the A38 back home to Brent Knoll.

Great ride. The only thing I had a problem with was Porlock Hill... Hill? HILL???? Chuffin mountain more like... But there were some GREAT twisties up there when it levelled out, I definatley recommend doing it.

thats a quality piece of road, did a rideout along there last summer you should be able to find the thread relating to it somewhere in here still

My bike made approximately 8 miles in the rain this morning before it cut out, Ive been and collected my fenda extenda and I am going to fit it tomorrow

That is a quality route Stretchie. I sometimes go up Porlock hill and then on through past County Gate and then come back on the road that runs through the centre of the moor via Exford. Really nice, for riding quick or just for pootling along looking at the view

Well, All Ive done is up and down my valley for half an hour before work... needed to test new brake disc at somepoint

And messed around on 1000 sheep road... which was absolutley empty today.. no cars, and far more importantly, no kamakazi sheep either

Nice view at sunset from there as well... though chances of any of you lot being around here at that time are slim! hehehe

But far more importantly, I fell in love with my bike again... after the brakes messing around and trying to throw me off, today it didnt fuss -just stopped! lol , plus as the axel needed greasing as well, theres a tad more ooomph back in it, so burnt off a subaru off a roundabout to mark my comeback

Now, time to rack up the miles me thinks

Hello all,
im coming out of hibernation and hoping to have a short local ride if the weather holds up tomorrow to blow a few winter cobwebs out.
So hope to catch up with some of you once the better weather is here in a few weeks

oh i wish i could go out this weekend as the brecon and landovery roads are good ones but alas i am working, its not fair
