Hmm, I've never been a big fan of the wheelie. I first tried on my VFR 800. Got to about 15 mph, backed off on the throttle and then gave it a handful. Boy she came up quick and I nearly flipped it as it all happened so fast. The front came crashing to the ground and then I just thought bugger this! It will cost me too much to repair if I keep doing it. Now power wheelies are ace. Did a few on the Ninja over some crests and it was all smooth and lovely. Also having a mental pillion on the back helps! I've had the SV's front go light but that's about it!

It's all too easy to loft the 'tona. A gentle upwards tug on the bars whilst giving it modest clout in 1st is all it takes.
