I've been a catholic all my life, my girlfriend is a devout catholic yet I think once you start the higher than tho approach with religion it is a recipe for disaster and heavy confronation. As Bill bailey said, "Keep your nose clean and hope everything pans out alright!"

Chris...a rather profound quote that you used there. Can you substantiate the meaning behind it? Do you really believe that to be true or are you simply happy to use that as a set phrase....something of a cop out...a failing perhaps on your part to bring a more credable argument to the table?

Perhaps PH if more people took the Dave Allen approach to religion, there would not be fanatics from all religions murdering each other in the name of God. To be able to laugh is something God gave us and if its directed at him I'm sure he must have a sense of humour.
