JADE GOODY DOIN THE MARATHON

Think what you like guys and gal's they are only famous because people make them that way. If nobody was interested in the Jades/Paris Hiltons they wouldn't be famous. It's sad but it's true, you can't really blame the individuals nor the press, you can only blame the millions that buy/watch them.

And to wish somebody dead for having press time is very out of order. To dislike someone intensly is one thing, to wish them dead. . . . . . . . . .get a life

Yeh, but sadly its the media who put her on the cover of mags and papers. Then silly people buy it.
But the media put her out there first. If they ignored her, people would happliy read about the next nano cleleb that comes along. They are all as bad as each other these types.
And they can all drop dead. #
There are far more important things going on in this world than nano celebs but the media happily keeps us "dumbed down" with inch after inch of inane stories about these peoples lives.
Why anyone cares i cant understand.

Because maybe they find the real world a bore, a drab existance, and that they find these celebritys as 'idols' or just as plain old escapisim. It takes thier mind off thier own problems, and just lets them live in a world that isnt real. At the end of the day what harm is it really doing to you eh? None.

I see your point Viney and accept it. I watch mindless drivel on telly at times for escapism too so how could i den others this simple joy.

But it does harm me when i hear that annoying cows voice at 8am on the news when i'm trying to get ready for work. I didnt invite her into my bedroom. The news studio chose to do that for me. If she didnt exist, they wouldnt have her there sneakily getting into my bedroom in the mornings.
But i also appreciate they would have another equally annoying person there if she didnt exist.

You have a volume control and a on/off button. Theres also good childrens tv on BBC2 in the morning

I drive the g/f mad with the amount of channel hopping and mute button pressing i do mate.
At the end of it all, i agree that i am the one with the remote control in my hand and the power to turn it over or off.


But i still wish she would keel over

she went to school with my mates sister and was my dental nurse !!!!!!!!!

Ex-Big Brother star Jade Goody was rushed to hospital after failing to complete the London Marathon. Jade passed out in the street 18 miles into the 26.2 mile run. The star, who admits to having done minimal training, "turned blue" according to spectator Richard Lankshear.

He told The Sun:

"She looked in a bad way and was obviously in a lot of pain. She was shouting to medics, 'I'm dying, I'm dying'."

But, following treatment at The Royal London Hospital in East London, Jade was allowed to go home and rest up.

Having got her breath back, she told the paper:

"I was just so exhausted I couldn't carry on - but the doctors say I'm OK. I'm gutted I didn't get my medal, but I've only got myself to blame as I did hardly any training."

And even at the start line, she told Gordon Ramsay: "I've been eating curry and Chinese and drinking."

See she was nearly there the poor lass! A couple of light jogs around the block added to her performance enhancing diet and she would have been sorted! :P

Joking apart she has done very well to get to 18 miles.....which is when the dreaded "wall" kicks in even for those that HAVE trained.

I am sure Spidey is going to take back all of his disparaging remarks now as he fills with admiration!

18 miles... That's pretty damn good. I couldn't run 18 miles. Or walk 18 miles. I'm quite tired after 18 miles on the bus.
