Hey Andy did you use the route I showed you through Oakenclough, Quenmoor, Caton and then over the river to Kirby Lonsdale on the B6254 Over Kellet - Kirby Lonsdale Road. Or did you use your A59 A65 route.

Funny you should ask Tim - I tried to follow that route on Wednesday afternoon when I decided to go to Devil's - I took the right turning off the A6, and it all went wrong from there I got hopelessly lost and ended up going past beacon fell and trough of bowland, finally coming out somewhere near Clitheroe! Still had a good ride though

I reckon 2 things were a major factor in me getting lost - a memory like a sieve and f**k all sense of direction!!

So you missed the left turn then

that's why i didn't ride home that way, i'd have gotten lost

I like finding new routes to take also...
