Feel for you mate!
Had my fair share of kickings,all over nothing/someone else starting it and then sodding off for me to be the punch-bag! Don't let your pride get hurt,you did the right thing. As has been said,there are alot of nutters out there,you just don't know what type of scumbag your up against,they could have Knives,Bottles even Guns! I stay away from agro places and don't hang around people who get into trouble frequently. Trouble is if some pi**ed-up moron wants a ruck,they'll find a reason to start one. Best thing is either end the fight before it begins,(ie Knock them out before they hit you,IF you're that sort of person) Or try and walk away,which is my adopted strategy! Me,I'm a lover,NOT a fighter. Unless there is absolutely no alternative.(And I'd probably come off worse anyway!) Hope you heal quick!

sorry to hear that mate
 ive had to talk my way out of a fight once... the bloke was certain I looked like a policeman that had beaten him up the previous week... took me and my brother and a friend or two to convince him Im not a policeman..... luckily, I was in my local drinking hole at the time, and I think numbers would have been against him if he had started anything... |
