London is like any big city. There are good bits & bad bits. Nice people and not so nice people. It just depends on who you talk to & socialise.

I hate london, but then a real country gal...(i live on a farm) so i hate any busy, packed city/town.

I don't mind 'going' to London for a night-out,but I do like coming home to the Countryside,even though B.H. is getting more and more Urbanised and like London everyday!

I do love going to London, and now I know where I'm going and can walk most of it, it's great - I'll often take my daughter down there (sorry, UP there!) for a weekend, she's only 13 and decided that she wants to live there!

I'll miss the day trips when I leave this job

Agreed. It's just getting too crowded here. I've lived in London for about 15 years now and used to love the place. Now every year I hate it more. I'd love to move to uncrowded New Zealand but Mrs Wyrdness is London born and bred and doesn't want to move - at least not so far.

There are decent roads. The problem is that they're jammed with cars, have low speed limits and are infested with gatsos

I'd agree that there are good & bad parts to London.

I stayed with a mate in his pub just near Euston Station last year - had a great night out, met loads of briliant people and the regulars in his pub were really friendly, bought me loads of drinks etc!

But... Searching the shops on Oxford St for a mobile phone charger on 22nd December -
