Quiff, I'd like to congratulate you on your courage in coming forward & admitting that you have a relative (blood relative no less !!) that is into tractors - ooops, sorry I mean Custom Choppers!! :P

Seriously though, not my style of bike at all - but (being a self confessed mechanical moron & engineering muppet) I can appreciate the work that goes into creating a machine like that !!

Oh yes, & SHAME ON YOU - you've never heard of a Yamaha R7 ??

It was the bike derived from the R1 back when in BSB & WSB 4 cylinder bikes were restricted to 750cc (ie a two-tier system that led to the demise of proper racing - hmmmmmmmm, does this tale sound familiar ??)

trying to get the piccies of its construction- it was a shed.. the yellow magna pic.. is for illustration not the actual bike started with

you know when folk find old rusty classic cars in a farmers hedge that are being used foe a chicken coup.

it was kinda like that- looked beyond redemption !!

aha VOXY--- he is inded an uncle by marriage- - son of my wifes grandad.. but I look at him as more of a big brother- hes a great guy- looks can be deceptive!!...

and NO- I had never ever heard of an R7... didnt realise it was like the Holy grail..
