1982 Ford Fiesta 1.1L (BDF 719Y) in Sienna Brown (remarkably similar colour to the rust). Quite reliable, fairly easy to work on (with the exception of the points, as the distributor was hidden under the carb, and the thermostat, the cover of which chemically welded its bolts in, resulting in having to take the whole cylinder head off to get it machined out). Leaked a bit straight into the drivers side seat belt (which absorbed it all), rear wiper worked every once in a while (never when raining), handling best described as understeer-tastic (no front end grip at all), but you could get masses of equipment in it (or 5 people) and it wasn't too scary on the motorway. Passed MOT every year after around £100 worth of welding on the sills.

13/60 Triumph Herald Vitesse (1969 vintage)
By the time I got it, well lets just say it was passed it's prime, but it was a sports car, no honest it was said so in the manual and everything, rag top, bonnet opened the right way, had to be. Ok, maybe not really , but I thought so at the time, wrote it off trying to do a very bad impression of "the driver" in a multi story car park ![]() Something like this, not as smart, and more a rust colour (although whte originally I believe). ![]() Cheers Mark.

1 litre Nova affectionately called Noddy because it had the same paintwork as Noddy's car.
Again it was free and it was unnickable - left the keys in the door for 3 hours in a car park and it was still there when i went back. |

Citroen Dyanne, she was the upmarket version of the 2CV. Bright Green. I bought her for £50 painted her up in Dulux weathershield paint, and sold her a year later for £80.
The bloke that bought her was writing the Haynes Manual for Dyannes on Restoration - so she was lovingly photographed! I really must try and find that book! Nutty x |

White 1967 Triumph Herald 1200 saloon - KHJ 825E - bought in 1994 for £225 in Romford.
If anyone comes across it, please ask the owner if it's for sale, how much, and then tell me. I'd kill to buy it back. |

Never drove. Don't really want to. That's all I have to say on the matter.
