Brent Cross is a dive in comparison to somewhere like the Galleria.

I never like going there at the best of times (and i used to live oppoisite the bloody place too) and now this just cements in my mind what a joke it is.

X-mas time they dont control the flow of traffic in and out of the place so why should anyone have to pay for that priveledge?

I'll deffo get on thier website later and leave them some rude comments about being money grabbing *******s. Could you imagine the traffic chaos localy if every car going in and out had to wait for the barrier to open and close.

For those of you not familiar with the place i probably sound like a right moany git about this but having lived in the area nearly all my life i know just what a joke this will become.

Sadly, the type of people who actually enjoy shopping there will probably agree to the charge as their narrow minds will think "well it'll keep the riff raff out i guess"
But most of the riff raff arrive by bus

In yer pocket. It's going to be one of those 'pay as you leave' systems. I prefer those to pay and display. BUT NOT FOR BIKES!

And charging employees a fiver a day for parking is just out of order.

I have tried to stay impartial, however....

The £5 for staff is part of a consultation on which the owners are prepared to listen. The system will be a pay-on-foot that is better described on the website. The owners are prepared to listen to sane, rational argument and are actually inviting comments through the website, and active feedback on site (there is even a permanently manned stand in the building)

Spidey - you disappoint me! Last Christmas, apart from the fact that Thames Water took 5 days to repair a water main on the A41, BX took a lot of effort to keep traffic flowing, to get the traffic flowing any better would have required a change in law so that the local roads can be comandeered for shoopers leaving the site! Somedays there was even a very good looking young man directing traffic!

Have you been recently (ie in the last 2 years)? A large number of stores have changed to reflect what local people want and HUGE sums invested to lift the standard of presentation.

Spidey Consider yourself invited to get a tour of the place and see what it is really about!
