Take an umbrella Grant if you haven't got a back protector yet, look at getting one with a built in kidney belt like the the Knox Contour. I have been riding with a kidney belt since I first started riding, with a back protector over it. I now have one of these which I wear everyday. The kidney belt will provide extra support for your back and stop you getting pain on long journeys.

cool lots of the posse in attendance. should be a good weekend. alcohol orders and food to be given to tara on friday night and her and falc will do supermarket trip on sat while we are out on rideout

Here is a proposed route down.

Route starts at the Edinburgh bypass at the A7 @ 10AM.

I have built in a couple of hours for fag / fuel stops etc. A bit boring for the middle section but the start and end should be OK.

I could have planned it for non-motorway for just about the whole way but I suspect that we would have to leave too early to do something like that.
