Went to see him at the hospital tonight.

He seemed quite perky (Its easy to tell cos they supply short bedclothes at the hospital

) but he has understandably poor movement on his left arm which is what the surgery is for (hopefully tomorrow). They are going to have a look at the elbow and if it is just a small fragment that has chipped off then they will take it out and throw it away

but if it is a larger break then they will attempt to repair it.

His facial swelling has gone away but he is starting to show signs of what is going to be a cracking black eye coming out however I suspect that was Shirley earlier on this evening

Shirley has a photo of that & I will post it up when I get it. (just to scare the kids), There are some other photos of the bike and the protective gear (or what's left of it) so if I get a copy of them I will post them up as well.

If he goes for his op tomorrow he will not be allowed visitors and he is hoping to get out after that but we will wait and see.

He is asking after you Scooby. Perhaps you could get together and share anecdotes over perhaps over a chip or two and a few spare ribs...... OK i'll get me coat.
