Very, very sad. Never good to hear about this kind of thing. Whether you knew the person or not, matters little.

Thats just made me go cold..i love that road. Very twisty, lots of light and dark patches thanks to the trees.

I've been told that the news was being held back until his close friends had all been informed. Apologies if I've caused anyone more upset at this sad time.

If it is thought appropriate to remove this post then please do so.

Don't worry fella.

I've had a PM from Anna, and Beenz has also posted. Both were there

If I'm right, this was a rideout I was hoping to join.

I so stunned.

RIP fellow Dan

This is one of the hardest posts I have ever had to write..

The accident happened on Saturday with a few of us from the S&W contingency out.

Dan was one of the best riders I knew and one of the nicest blokes you could ever hope to know. We loved riding with him and we will miss him horrendously. Words really dont do this justice.

Thoughts are with his family and friends.

RIP

I'm gutted.

My thoughts go out to family and friends, esp those on the ride. Let us know if there's anything we can do to support you.
