Has anyone claimed with ebike? Reason Im asking is someone on visordown was having problems with their claims department. Wondering if hes an isolated case or not.

Carole Nash have just quoted me £224 FC with 2 years NCD, licence 4 years, 2 accidents declared - both no fault. Ebike were £145. So yet to decide tbh.

edit: on thats unlimted milage, commuting, pillion, break down etc. in sutton / london age 20 and is my first bike.

Oh and they didnt take into account taht its restricted, they said they dont care as long as it doesnt increase value or power.

Mine is due in a couple of months, I have been getting a few quotes in the mean time.
My current insurer (Bennets) has quoted £158. First Quote was £284!!!
But....Hastings has just quoted £136! Blimey.

FYI...I'm 33, licence for 12 years, 3 years NCB, standard bike and garaged.

ive never made a claim off hastings but there prices seem right.
