do i really need to post more pics of my injuries...to be honest 500 yards you woudnt even have time to put your feet on the pegs and you will probably sweat more inside your helmet than you would walking....for such a fit bloke how come it takes you 10 mins to walk 500 yards im on crutches and i can do it in 2mins

Take up inline skating and skate to the gym. Hell of a lot quicker than walking.

Personally, I have never ridden a bike without full gear, whatever the weather.

If it's only 400 yards then I'd do it tracksuit if your going to the gym.

I ride more than 400 yards when I bring the bike from the back to the front of the house and vice versa and I don't even wear my lid, don't even come out of 2nd gear!

Medway goes to work everyday during the summer in just his work trousers... that's 10 miles!! We always make sure we wear jackets whatever the weather!

*waits for barrage....*

500 yards in 2 mins on crutches? That's about a six minutes a mile. Would like to see you try.

I find I ride like a complete twonk unless I'm wearing my kit. Guess I know I'm vulnerable so am nervous, probably increasing my chances of an off.
In this case I may just go for jacket and gloves tho.
