We were going to buy the SRi (CDti) 150 with styling pack, 18"s etc before the VXR due to the fuel savings.
Then we saw them parked up next to each other, dribble... No contest.
Timwilky, brakes are good enough on the 150 model. Suspension is also adiquate on them. (but both can be upgraded, from Vauxhall, under warrenty. 4 pots are £1500

Map is only detectable if you plug a computer into it and check all the mapping settings (i.e you'd need to know the standard map inside out). But you'd notice it big time just by stepping out the loud pedal
It can also be re-mapped to standard for basically nowt as some companies realise peopel want to sell them on as a standard car again.
Just realised anyway, its a lease car, so tbh, i wouldn't bother touching it either, thought it was yours
