These are the motovation ones i received. The bar goes into each bung though a metal collar about 1-1.5inch, then a washer and nyloc bolt. From descriptions its the same as the motoslider ones. They cost me £43 delivered, but they were on discount @ £38 from £48 + £5p&p. Not bad i thought realy.

ps. On removing my old R&G bar, it was slightly bent at each end where the force transfered through the bung & cup bent it a tad.

The bungs must have transmitted a fair bit of force through the cups and they bent the bar. As why it happened its probably because the bike once hit the curb on the bung.

I am changing as i needed two new bungs anyway, R&G wont sell the old style any more and say that i need to take the bike to a dealer so they can prove ive got R&Gs so i get a discount. If i was to get the TL bungs which are the same but shorter they are about £25each, so i decided because of bad experiances with them i moved to another type which are the same cost as two new R&G bungs.

Yup, seem to be exactly the same as Motosliders. Which is good, I think Though I'm not sure how pleased Nate'll be! At the price, seems like a win-win.

I was going to order some Motosliders but if these Motovation Frame Sliders are the same then I will order a set of them instead. Its just a shame that the swingarm ones are not availible aswell. If they were I would have got some of them aswell.

Does anyone know of any decent swingarm sliders?

R&G are good. They use a de-embrittled bolt, unlike most, so they're lses likely to snap (handy if you're using them with a paddock stand!) The bolt tends to rust as a result, but that's OK, inevitable side effect. They're a little bigger than most paddock stand hooks, so that can get marked when you lift it up, but I don't really call that a problem. Good stuff.

Motosliders do a set too, mind They're very good, a metal step for paddock stand hooks, and delrin sliders on the outside. Best of both worlds. They stick out a logn way, which is godo for protection, but might be less good in a slide over broken ground or tarmac- they seem like they could catch and snap off.

If not then you can torque the bolt up (if it will go to the right torque as some will not) and when the engines hot they squash leaving the bolt slightly loose and the more you tighten the worse it gets.

Buy a set of Moko's
