It was advertised as straight when it came of bike, but said it had been stored … basically implying that some storage damage may (or may not) have taken place in storage … fair enough …

So I expected scratches etc, but nope, totally Donald ducked/Unusable!!! I am convinced the damage was done before being sent through the mail, but I am sure it didn’t help that it was totally inappropriately packaged!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ………

Much of the stuff I have had has been roughly as described, but I have had a few bad experiences too. I tend to take the viewpoint that I never bid more than I am prepared to loose in a total loss situation … still doesn’t mean it doesn't sting when you get bitten!!!

Still trying to get money back on the forks which need new dust & oil seals. The guy beleaves that i am being unreasonable to ask £45 back on final price of £185 for the new seals and oil, plus i need to tap out one of the mudguard lugs as there is a fully corroded bolt in one. He is trying on that he said 'no refunds' in the advert, which is not there (ebay dont allow ad mods after a sale) and even if it was the item was not described correctly. I have said to him that if he mentioned that new seals were needed/a little corrosion on fork legs/lugs are corroded he would have never got the sale price as it was (he mentioned seals were excelent condition).

Ok, i have asked a tad back but i know he will prolly batter the refund down a little.

Was it just the forks you bought off him or including yokes? How did you pay again?£45 is not at all unreasonable IMO in this instance.

Personally I'll be more inclined to just get my money back provided there is a good chance of that. You can't miss something that obvious

Cheers
Ben

It was just for the forks. Someone asked me to get the forks and fit them for him. I would prolly send them back but the cost is high to post and the guy that bought them realy needs them. 750 forks are quite hard to get on ebay and they are a good upgrade for the KYB forks on a TL.
