cheers Stu/Jabba/Ed...but the damages were:

bruising to right knee
knackered right hand indicator
right hand crash bung
right hand bar end


guess the bike fell over to the RHS when I emergency braked!

Will only sue him if he sues first...actually if he did I'd attempt to do him for theft also as at the scene he stole my bike keys so I couldn't move my bike. The nice ambulance lady got them back. I was too in shock to argue at that point!!!

That nicking the keys trick, I wouldn't blame him for... People leaving the scene is pretty common these days THough I imagine it's no fun.

At least you and bike are more or less OK- I think I'd probably do the same, suing's going to be an awful lot of hassle for such a small amount of damage, might make more sense to walk away. But, I'd maybe have a word with the legalish of us to see if pedestrian might try it on suing you. That'd be the icing on the cake.

wasn't a "bad" fall. Just bad enough for the above damage.

Besides, put the new exhaust on after the incident.
